09FEB2013 Lakeside Sunset Went out to Chalco Hills tonight to see how the wildlife was doing and ran across this. There were quite a few types of birds flying and the numbers are way up from the last trip out. We will be heading to Squaw Creek here soon the migration should commence any day now. Its still cold out but we have edged past are hard freeze date with no serious stretch of below zero this winter season. Have a great weekend and thanks for commenting.
23DEC2012 Log Cabin Lake The kids back in school the old boat dock makes it through to another fall season. A lone loon wrestles the remaining crawfish on the lakeshore sending ripples across the lakes fall reflections. Have a wonderful day and thanks for all your comments on yesterdays image I call "Omaha Blues." Jr and I never seem to collect images together although we rode in the same vehicle to downtown last night I struck out on my own... I was trying to find that new iconic image location other photographers will want in their portfolio. Happy Holidays to you and yours!

07OCT2012 Lakeside Flotilla Behind me is one hundred screaming kids on a field trip to Mirror Lake Wisconsin a State Park just south of the Wisconsin Dells. Not a likely day to go Kayaking it's forty two degree's out and the wind is whipping. None the less the tykes boarded the crafts and sped of to the nether reaches of the lake....we just happened by the park on our hunt for Fall foliage. Thanks for all the wonderful comments yesterday....What do you think of this one? Husker Nation is Bummed out...i'm not going to Ohio this week. Have a great Sunday! There was a few instructors there to put the gear into the water for the kids...In fact he asked me if he had lined those up good enough for my shot....crazy huh... you just have to get out there amongst them Badgers, their harmless!
29JUNE2012 The Snowset.... Waves of snow are crossing the lake....the sun nearly breaking through. Update: This night our campsite at the Sylvan Lake campground had four inches of snow in it! Most years you can't get a campsite all the lake sites are taken....this was one of the coldest spots in the nation when we were there. Thanks for commenting!
